BATIZADO & FORMATURA - 5, 6, 7 JUNE 2009
We would like to invite you all to the 2nd Batizado and Formatura with Formado Biscuim, Capoeira Brasil UK. We are pleased to have the presence of Mestre Paulao Ceara, Group Capoeira Brasil, Fortaleza & Holland, here to celebrate this special occasion.

SUMMER BATIZADO ZARAUTZ 2009
The Senzala Euskadi Summer Capoeira Meeting and Batizado will be held from Thurs 25th to Sun 28th of June.
Just like last year, the majority of the event will take place in Zarautz. More information about Zarautz on the Zarautz Tourist Information website.
During the event there will be: music and African dance classes, street rodas, acrobatics classes on the beach, a party, Q&A sessions with the teachers, yoga sessions… and of course capoeira, a lot of capoeira.
HOW TO GET TO ZARAUTZ
By plane to Bilbao with www.easyjet.com (from London Stansted) or www.aerlingus.com (from Ireland):
- Bus from Bilbao Airport to Bilbao bus station (more info)
- Bus from Bilbao Bus Station to San Sebastián bus station (more info)
- Train from San Sebastian to Zarautz. The train station is 10 mins walk from the bus station in San Sebastian. (more info)
By plane to Biarritz with www.ryanair.com
- Bus from Biarritz airport to Biarritz centre or Hendaia centre. (more info)
By train (TGV) to Hendaia:

- From Hendaia Train Station to Zarautz (total journey time 1hour): The Euskotren Train Station (more info) where you can take a direct train to Zarautz is only 50metres from the TGV station.
* If there are enough people Senzala Euskadi will organize a bus from Bilbao Airport, Biarritz Airport or Hendaia train station to Zarautz on the 25th of June to make journey easier . The price for the bus will be split between those using it.
WHERE TO SLEEP
There is space for everyone at the Igerain Youth Hostel in Zarautz. All beds have sheets and blankets so you don’t need to bring a sleeping bag. There are enough showers for everyone and breakfast is included.
WHERE TO TRAIN
The training sessions will be held in Antoniano’s High School Sports Hall in Zarautz, where there are changing and showering facilities. The Hall is only five minutes walk from the Youth Hostel. Some of the rodas and training sessions will take place on the seafront promenade , right next to the beach, so that a refreshing, post-training swim is guaranteed!

- 25th June, thursday:
- 18:00 – 20:00: Training and opening roda. (On the Zarautz promenade, if the weather is good; in Antoniano’s Sports Hall, if the weather is bad.)
- Sleep at the Youth Hostel
- 26th June, Friday:
- 08:30 – 09:30: Breakfast and event inscriptions. Igerain Youth Hostel.
- 09:30 – 10:30: Yoga session. The Youth Hostel gym.
- 11:00 – 14:00: Training. Antoniano’s Sports Hall.
- 17:00 – 18:00: Event inscriptions.
- 18:00 – 20:00: Training.(On the Zarautz promenade, if the weather is good; in Antoniano’s Sports Hall, if the weather is bad.)

- 27th June, Saturday:
- 08:30 – 09:30: Breakfast. Igerain Youth Hostel.
- 09:30 – 10:30: Yoga session. The Youth Hostel gym.

- 11:00 – 16:00: Training and Batizado. Antoniano’s Sports Hall.
- 18:00 – 20:00: Acrobatics class on Zarautz beach.
- 22:00 - late: Party (Venue to be confirmed)

- 28th June, Sunday:
- 08:30 – 09:30: Breakfast. Igerain Youth Hostel.
- 09:30 – 10:30: Tidy rooms and pack.
- 10:30 – 11:30: and photo viewing session. The Youth Hostel gym.
- 12:00 – 15:00: : Training and closing roda. (On the Zarautz promenade, if the weather is good; in The Youth Hostel gym, if the weather is bad.)
